Kubota Z422 54″ Zero-Turn Mower

The Kubota Z422 54-inch zero-turn mower, available at Mascoutah Equipment in Mascoutah, Illinois, delivers a strong combination of performance, comfort, and durability for homeowners, acreage owners, and commercial operators. Its 54-inch deck gives you plenty of cutting capacity while still keeping the mower compact enough to maneuver around landscaping, buildings, and tighter areas.

Power comes from a 24 HP Kawasaki FS730V air-cooled V-twin gasoline engine paired with a Hydro-Gear ZT-3600 commercial hydrostatic transmission. With a top forward mowing speed of 10 mph, the Z422 can cover up to approximately 5.5 acres per hour with its 54-inch cutting width.

The 54-inch Kubota side-discharge mower deck features a durable 5-inch-deep deck design and three cutting blades. Cutting height adjusts from 1.5 to 5 inches in 1/4-inch increments, allowing the operator to easily match mowing height to changing turf conditions.

The Z422 also features a high-back suspension seat, smooth dual-lever controls, a spacious operator platform, and a foot-operated mower lift system for added comfort and convenience during longer mowing sessions. A 6.8-gallon fuel tank helps keep downtime to a minimum when mowing larger properties.

With commercial-grade drive components, a powerful Kawasaki engine, and a versatile 54-inch deck, the Kubota Z422 is a strong choice for customers who want professional-level zero-turn performance without stepping into a larger commercial mower.
